Annual Fund Drive
Each year the St. John the Apostle Catholic School’s development efforts focus on educating and involving our community in the long-rang success of the parish and school religious educations. The office organizes the Annual Fund Drive, manages fundraising events, legacy gifts and grand projects. It also aids in recruitment efforts, including public relations and marketing for parish and school.
In light of the difficult economic times the needs are greater. We ask each of you to prayerfully consider an especially generous gift this year, to both meet the growth needs and help carry the burden for those less fortunate. The generous heart you extend now provides not only current continuation of excellence in Catholic Education, but ensures those gifts will be available for generations to come.
Your generosity means strong academic and spiritual programs, equitable teacher and staff salaries, lower tuition and financial stability for St. John the Apostle Catholic School.
Donors include parishioners, school families, friends, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff. As well, corporate and foundation matching grants comprise several of our campaign gifts, and there is also the $7,500 matching grant opportunity from the Joseph Weston Foundation for gifts given by non-school family donors which we have already achieved.
The Annual Fund Campaign officially starts July 1st, 2012 and ends June 30th, 2013. This year the goal is to raise $40,000. The dollars raised during the annual fund drive are divided into three main categories: CEEF, Tuition Assistance and the areas of greatest need. No amount is too small or too big. Many of you work for companies who will match charitable gifts to an elementary school. Be sure to contact your Human Resource department for more information.
